One man took hold of the trunk and declared that an elephant must be like a snake. Another touched the animal's ears and decided that he elephant must resemble bats. A third put his hands around a leg and concluded that elephants are similar to tree trunks. As we approach Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we frequently find ourselves in the same predicament as the blind men in the story.
