Wake Up To The New Year!

Stories and Insights---A popular children's story tells of how several blind men once set about trying to describe an elephant. One man took hold of the trunk and declared that an elephant must be like a snake. Another touched the animal's ears and decided that he elephant must resemble bats. A third put his hands around a leg and concluded that elephants are similar to tree trunks. As we approach Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we frequently find ourselves in the same predicament as the blind men in the story. We want to take advantage of these days to gain spiritual achievement, but we don"t know exactly how to go about it because spiritual concepts are difficult for us to grasp.
