Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna, known to the world as the Gaon of Vilna, or the GR"A, was a Torah giant, a man of phenomonal genius. Although in the sphere of Torah learning he was so outstanding, his greatness was not limited to his studies. His meticulous observance of mitzvoth, and the self-sacrifice he showed for every Torah precept, was legendary.
