How glad we were when we heard, that Grandma publishes her writings in a book!

We, her grandchildren, have known the treasure of her writings from our early childhood. We grew up with them, learned from them and lived them.

Her stories about her and her contemporaries' survival during the Holocaust, and their dedication in coming to Israel and fighting with a thousand difficulties filled us with wonder. We welcomed all this with love and firm faith.

We were born into another age. There is no scarcity any more and the world tries to forget the horrors of the Holocaust. Grandma's articles gave us an aperture towards the recent past. They opened our eyes, taught us morals and right conduct.

We derived wisdom from Grandma's stories about everyday occurrences, that seem to be trifles, but they are really quite important.

We think it is a welcome idea to bring this book before the public, so they too may learn, understand and benefit from it. As for us, we are bound to thank Grandma for the wonderful lessons in all areas of life she transmitted to us through her pen.
